I attended the Stanford Baseball camp on August 1st to 4th.  What a great experience.  I had never been there before; I loved Palo Alto for it’s small town feeling.  No tall buildings like Los Angeles, where I grew up.   Stanford University is beautiful, surpassed only by the Stanford baseball field, which they call “The Sunken Diamond.”  I was nervous when I went out to shortstop for the first time on the field.   The Stanford head coaches were great men and I listened carefully to the wise advice they freely gave to us.

There were college coaches in the stands with clipboards watching all of us play.  But as soon as the first pitch was thrown, I was home again.  Baseball is baseball.  I got interest from a couple schools I am happy to report.  I’m looking forward to going back again next year when I will be a rising Senior.
